Got an item of clothing that you never wear taking up space in your cupboard? On a budget but need a new outfit for summer? Want to look fabulous without contributing to climate change?
Come and refresh your wardrobe at the Clothes Swap @ Library of Things!
How it works: Bring up to 5 items of clothing or accessories to the Upper Norwood Library Hub between 12pm and 1pm. Get coupons which from 2pm - 4pm you can trade for more clothes!
Items must be:
- Clean and undamaged
- Adults’ clothes and accessories only (no babies’ or kids’ clothes, sorry!)
- No intimates (unless brand new with tags)
Or you can come along with nothing and buy clothes for £1 per item when the swap kicks off at 2pm.
Entry is free and a wide variety of sizes, genders and styles encouraged!
There's no need to register for a ticket on Eventbrite, but it will give us a good idea of what numbers to expect on the day.
There will also be a punch needle workshop from 1-3pm which is ticketed and has limited spaces. Find out more info & book it here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/beginners-needle-punch-workshop-tickets-66312094259
Mending workshop and food for sale at the event - TBC!
We need volunteers to help us run the event on the day - think setting up, sorting clothes, handing out coupons and helping us pack down. Interested? Email firstname.lastname@example.org - we'd love to hear from you!
